Is this seminary compromising for funding? WWJD?

Read this article about a Methodist seminary in California that is seeking $800k in funds that will teach the “legitimacy and integrity” of other religions and their traditions.

The problem I have with it is this – Christianity is the ONLY religion that teaches a person that God’s grace given to a person for salvation CANNOT be earned and is not deserved. All other religions teach a person to be good, do good, and earn their way to eternal life…but not Christianity! Christianity is different than all other religions so you cannot equate it with the others which is what it seems like this seminary is doing!!!

It’s always sad to me to see Christian institutions and groups compromise the radical message of Jesus Christ and this article implies it’s for a measly $800,000.00. Not even a million dollars to sell out Jesus? I guess Judas betrayed Christ for much less – only 30 pieces of silver (Matt. 26:14-16). What will Jesus say to people who betray Him in heaven? Read Luke 12:8-12 and Matthew 7:21-23 for ideas.

The good news is that all of us including those at this seminary have time to REPENT while we are still living! Peter denied Jesus 3x in Matthew 26 and was forgiven and restored to ministry! Let’s pray that the leadership of this seminary responds like Peter!
