Free Webinar this Sunday!

After 3 months of a delay, I am finally doing part 2 of the Webinar series through Dr. Rick Thomas’ Mt. Carmel Ministries!

I had neck surgery, moved into a new home, had a new book come out, and then accepted a partnership position with The Lovelady Center (www.loveladycenter.org) in the past 3 months. So, I postponed the Webinar until I had a little pocket of time.

So part 2 of “When the Goal is NOT Just Clean and Sober” will be this Sunday evening at 8 pm (CST) on July 11th and part 3 will be on July 25th.

Here’s the invite Dr. Thomas sent me today about this Webinar:

Pastor Shaw is back with us to resume his series on When The Goal Is Not Just Clean and Sober. He thanks you for your prayers for his recovery and is excited to complete this vital series. Register early!

Dr. Mark Shaw, President of Truth in Love Ministries, will present crucial instruction on the goal and motivation for working with someone who has a life dominating sin. The biblical counselor’s goal is not to become satisfied that the counselee is free from a substance and living a life of sobriety.

Dr. Shaw will convincingly demonstrate clean and sober are only possible when the counselor motivates the counselee to a high level – namely the glory of God.

Mark your calendars for part two of this three part series in the month of July. Enlightening, eye-opening, and encouraging!
