Missed writing over the last few months! Hope everyone is doing well! Had a few minutes here in a coffe shop/tech trap and thought I would share a few cool pics I’ve run across in the last day or two. Please don’t read this blog and get fired up thinking I’m some type of mystic who looks for God outside of His revealed Word. I just enjoy collecting tags that point people to God! I have found that these pictures are a great conversation starter in getting people to share about their faith….

The last few days have been so humbling. God has just been revealing Himself and moving in every situation in such a MIGHTY way! I had the privilege today of sharing Church with a young married couple who are growing in the Lord. The way everything is working out with this situation, it’s ALL GOD!
Have you ever just had a day or two, maybe a week, or even a month where things just seemed effortless? Well that is what I am writing about today… Now don’t misread this as I don’t have challenges… That would be untrue. But when we actually realize that it’s ALL GOD, then at that moment, season, or stage in our life, we can truly understand that it’s ALL GOOD when it’s centered around God’s Grace…
Human effort, accomplishes nothing the Bible states in John 6:63. Never have I been more aware of just how active God is in our lives, than this past week. It seems lately, each week I make this statement, then He goes and exceeds it the following week! We are 100% responsible for our actions, and God is 100% Sovereign. He requires our obedience, and through it, He brings the Supernatural! Someone once told me, God will always add the Super to our natural….
Guess I don’t really have a central theme to this post, except that I am rejoicing at this time in my life where God is clearly showing me just how much it’s ALL ABOUT HIM!

Last night I had the opportunity to catch a movie with some fellow believers. We watched the new Brad Pitt motion picture “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”. I will preface what I am about to share with the fact that I am NOT a movie critic. However, I am a Christian who tries to reconcile the things that my eyes see and ears hear through my God given Biblical Perspective. The movie is centered around a young boy who is born old. As he grows, he actually is becoming younger. Life in reverse. As I left this morally lacking movie, I asked the Lord to give me something from the time invested s0 that I can look back on the experience in a positive light as a learning opportunity.
As I began thinking more about it, it became clear that this movie exemplifies how hopeless we are without a Savior. As we grow up, in Christ (EPH 4:15) He provides us with hope through the possession of an eternal perspective. However, if we do not find Christ and grow in Him we only become more fixated on a hopeless world and the end which awaits all of us.
I am thankful through a healthy diet of God’s Word,the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and God authoring my steps, He protects me from being drawn away, deceived or discouraged with the world’s lies regarding faith, hope & love….
Bottom line, the movie wasn’t enjoyable but the lesson from God was!
